New Mexico’s #1 Cannabis Company breaks ground on nation’s largest comprehensive cannabis processing campus
(Alamogordo) – Ultra Health, New Mexico’s #1 Cannabis Company with a nationwide presence, has closed on the nation’s largest comprehensive cannabis production and manufacturing campus in the nation. The purchase includes a 225,000 square foot production facility as well as 95 acres of surrounding land.
The recently-renovated facility, a former commercial bakery, boasts ample space for production, warehousing, R&D, maintenance, and office space. It features temperature-controlled processing rooms, designated warehouses for raw materials and finished products, ceiling heights up to 24 feet, and water filtration systems.
Ultra Health will be pursuing a research license from the Drug Enforcement Agency to conduct cannabis cultivation research and development activities on the campus, which will utilize sustainable energy sources including solar and wind energy.
In addition, the operator plans to build a second state-of-the-art manufacturing lab in the facility that will produce accurately dosed, pharmaceutical-grade smokeless cannabis products utilizing technology from Israeli pharmaceutical group Panaxia. The lab will utilize Good Manufacturing Practices standards for both the United States and European Union.
Currently, Ultra Health owns a total of 445 acres of land in southern New Mexico, as well as 1,750 total acre-feet of water to support cultivation activities. The operator accounts for the largest cannabis production
footprint in North America.
Ultra Health will also maintain Diamond Membership with the Otero County Economic Development Council for five years. The membership includes two seats on the council’s board of directors.
Ultra Health is New Mexico’s #1 Cannabis Company and the largest minority-owned cannabis company in the United States. The vertically integrated provider currently operates 25 dispensary locations statewide, with another 10 stores slated to open by the fourth quarter of 2021.
